Hello, welcome to my site. 

I am a registered nurse in the upstate of South Carolina with 15 years experience. I have spent my entire nursing career in the peri-operative field of nursing. I started in pre-op and moved my way to both pre-assessment and post-anesthesia care unit and eventually landed in the operating room as a nurse circulator and nurse scrub. 

I am passionate about surgical nursing and feel called to serve my patients in the operating room and perform at the highest level within the surgical team. 

I am currently working at a large level 1 trauma hospital in my community as an operating room nurse. I have worked hard to learn and master my position as a nurse in the operating room and can be put into any case and perform my job requirements. I can confidently run a room in any service line needed. I actively teach younger and less experienced nurses any chance I get because so many amazing nurses did the same for me throughout the years. 

I am a mother to two wonderful children and wife to my best friend of over 15 years. I enjoy competing in triathlons and love to get outside and exercise and hike or play any chance I get. I enjoy a good challenging puzzle or Lego set and coloring with the kids. 

I am excited to be jumping into entrepreneurship using my years of nursing experience to leverage a career away from the bedside and create an ideal work life balance of assisting clients with medical record review and medical education. The legal system has always interested me and now I am able to bridge the gap between the medical and legal fields by offering my services as a legal nurse consultant helping simplify and organize medical records and medical jargon for my clients.
