Rebecca Nappi, RN, BSN, LNC
I am a registered nurse in upstate South Carolina with over 15 years of experience, specializing in the peri-operative field of nursing. My career began in pre-op and expanded to roles in pre-assessment and post-anesthesia care before transitioning to the operating room as a nurse circulator and scrub nurse. I am passionate about surgical nursing and feel called to serve my patients in the operating room, striving to perform at the highest level within the surgical team.
I work at a large Level 1 trauma hospital in my community as an operating room nurse. Over the years, I have worked hard to master my position, confidently running rooms in any service line. I actively mentor younger and less experienced nurses, paying forward the support and guidance I have received throughout my career.
For over a year, I have also worked as a legal nurse consultant, bridging the gap between the medical and legal fields. I have completed multiple affidavits for attorney clients and have provided behind-the-scenes support for several large LNC firms. My work includes creating detailed medical chronologies, organizing and analyzing medical records, and drafting medical summaries and demand letters for plaintiff cases. This experience has also allowed me to become proficient in tools like Adobe Acrobat for document management.
I am a mother to two wonderful children and a wife to my best friend of over 15 years. Outside of work, I enjoy competing in triathlons, hiking, and spending time outdoors. I also love tackling challenging puzzles, Lego projects, and creative activities with my kids.
I am excited to continue growing my entrepreneurial journey as a legal nurse consultant, combining my years of nursing experience with my interest in the legal system. This career shift allows me to assist clients with medical record review and education while creating an ideal work-life balance.
